Our Brass Flare fittings are a type of compression fitting used with metal tubing, usually soft steel, ductile copper and aluminum, though other materials are also used as per custom specification. Tube flaring is considered to be a type of forging operation and is usually a cold working procedure. During assembly, a flare nut is used to secure the flared tubing's tapered end to the also tapered fitting, producing a pressure-resistant, leak-tight seal. Flared connections offer a high degree of long-term reliability and for this reason are often used in mission-critical and inaccessible locations.

Our different types of Brass Electrical Parts are available as per custom requirements and our availability
Following are the Specification of Brass Electrical Parts:
  • High grade Brass
  • Alloy 360 Brass
  • Soft Steel
  • Free Cutting Brass
  • Ductile Copper
  • Forged Brass
  • Aluminium
  • Recommended Maximum abnormal pressure.
  • In conformance with Refrigeration Fitting Standards SAE J513, Military Standards MS‐35867 through MS‐35873 inclusive, MS‐ 35919, MS‐24815 and MS‐16993.
  • Conforms to DIN Standards.
  • Fabricated from brass forgings or drawn brass rod eliminating the possibility of seepage by porosity.
  • Accurately machined and fully protected against damage during shipping, handling and storage to assure tight leak‐proof joints.
  • Smooth interior finish provides unrestricted flow and reduced pressure drop.
  • Appropriate alternatives to solder-type joints when the use of an open flame is either not desired or impractical.
  • Incurred by pulsation, shock, vibration or surge which causes the tube to chatter in many ordinary compression fittings.
  • The design of the Self Flare fitting allows clearance between the tube and nut for easy movement over close radius bends in the tubing.
  • Used for water service applications.
  • Used to secure the flared tubing's tapered end to the also tapered fitting.
  • Self Flare fitting joints have been used successfully on vacuum applications.
