DIN 937 Hexagon Thin Castle Nuts are slotted crown nuts having slots serving both to facilitate the weight of the structure, and together with the cotter pin, the nut locking element from spontaneous unwinding during vibration during operation. DIN 937 Hexagon nuts are used in mechanical engineering, car building, and are used in agricultural units and machinery. For use with a cotter pin, in a bolt or other threaded axis, which is subsequently screwed on the DIN 937 nut, there must be a through hole for the cotter pin that is threaded into it, and unclenched in the grooves of the nut. DIN 937 Hex Castle Nuts are produced from steel, stainless steel A2 and acid-resistant stainless steel A4.
